What is CPOSC?

The Central PA Open Source Conference (CPOSC) is a one-day technical conference for open source users and developers. Presentations and sessions cover all aspects of open source, with talks ranging from novice to expert skill levels.

This year’s conference will be held at Harrisburg University in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 16, 2010 and is expected to have approximately 150 attendees.

Who attends CPOSC?

The target audience for CPOSC includes enthusiastic users of open source including:

• Developers who use open source languages (Ruby, Python, Perl, PHP, Java)
• System and network administrators who use open source tools
• Entrepreneurs who use open source technologies to power their businesses
• Open source project contributors (project committers and organizers)

Door Prizes
If you have items you’d like to give away as door prizes throughout the day of the conference, please contact us. Popular door prizes include books, t-shirts, software licenses, hosting or magazine subscriptions, and all types of swag.
