CPOSC 2009 is over… a really fun day with lots of interesting people. Thanks to everyone for coming and making it a success!

If you post photos to Flickr (and we hope you do!) please be sure to tag them with ‘cposc‘ so everyone can find them. After you tag them, they’ll automagically get pooled together.

Watch the CPOSC site for a few more updates, including presentation slides from all of the speakers. We’ll get those posted as soon as we receive them all.

CPOSC 2009 is tomorrow!

Enter Harrisburg University on the first floor and then take the elevators to the 12th floor. Registration is from 8 AM to 9 AM, followed by a short welcome at 9 AM in the auditorium. First sessions start at 9:20 AM.

The location page for CPOSC 2009 has been updated, and now includes photos of Harrisburg University. It’s basically at the corner of 4th and Market Streets.

Harrisburg University, Market Street Entrance

Use the Market Street entrance to go into the lobby and to the security desk. Then take the elevator to the conference registration desk on the 12th Floor.

Please note that if you park in the Harrisburg University parking garage, you will need to go to the 1st Floor Lobby first and then up to the 12th Floor. It’s an HU security thing. :)

On October 17, 2009 open source users, developers, and enthusiasts will converge on Harrisburg University for the 2nd Annual Central PA Open Source Conference. Don’t miss out on a chance to meet and mingle with fellow IT professionals, choose from twenty-one awesome sessions, and have a really fun day!

Registration ends at the end of the day on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.

With just 12 days left until CPOSC 2009, here’s a list of some notable pages on the wiki (no login required):

Ride Sharing: Need a ride to the conference? Have some extra room in your car? Save some fuel (and some cash) by carpooling!
Meetup: Going to be in town the Friday night before the conference, or looking for some socialization afterward? Leave a note on the Meetup page and get together with fellow conference attendees for some drinks or a bite to eat.
Harrisburg: A list of places to eat and drink, as well as some things to see and do if you are going to be in the Harrisburg area for a few days. If you have some recommendations for our out of town guests, that’s the place to share them!

CPOSC 2009 is only 15 days away! October 17 will be here faster than you think, but luckily there is still time to register.

Registration is still open for about another eleven days, ending at midnight on Tuesday, October 13, 2009.
